Plan Our Life exists to help a household plan a move to land. The only reason we hold data is to build your plan — never to sell, broker or advertise.

Who is responsible
Plan Our Life operates Plan Our Life and decides how the data described here is used. Privacy questions and requests go to privacy@plantourlife.com.
What we collect
- Account: email address, an optional name, and the sign-in records needed to keep your session secure.
- Household answers: number of adults and children, timeframe, region, goals, experience and available hours.
- Financial ranges: approximate budget, down payment, monthly capacity and buffer. Ranges, never exact figures, and treated as sensitive.
- Place requirements: land area, buildings, water, distances and the Must / Want / Bonus / Skip choices you make.
- Security records: an audit log of changes to your own records, and denied-access events used to detect abuse.
We do not request identity documents, exact home addresses, payment details or any special category data. There is no advertising or analytics tracking, and no third-party cookies — browser storage is used only to keep you signed in and remember your region and currency.
Cookies and how you manage consent
We use small pieces of browser storage — cookies and localStorage — only for the purposes listed below. No advertising or analytics scripts run until you explicitly allow them.
- Strictly necessary: Keeps you signed in, remembers your region and currency, and protects the site against abuse. These cannot be switched off.
- Analytics: Anonymous, aggregated statistics about which pages and planning tools are used, so we know what to improve.
- Marketing: Lets us measure whether partner placements and campaigns are relevant. Off unless you turn it on.
The first time you visit, a banner asks for your choices. Your decision, the categories you allowed, the version of this notice and the time it was given are stored locally and logged as proof of consent. You can change your mind or withdraw consent at any time using the Privacy choices link in the cookie banner or from Settings when you are signed in. Withdrawing consent stops future processing but does not affect the lawfulness of processing that happened before.
Why we are allowed to use it
- Contract: the answers you give are what the planner is built from — without them there is no service.
- Consent: financial ranges are optional and entered by you; you can clear or delete them at any time.
- Legitimate interests: keeping accounts secure, detecting abuse and maintaining an integrity log.
Who else sees it
Nobody buys, rents or receives your household data. It is not shared with estate agents, banks, insurers or partners, and partners listed in the directory receive nothing about you unless you contact them yourself. The infrastructure providers that host the service are listed on the subprocessors page.
Where it is stored and for how long
The database and backups are hosted in the European Union. Where a provider processes data outside the EU, transfers rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
| Data | Retention |
|---|---|
| Household and planning answers | For as long as your account exists; deleted immediately when you delete the account. |
| Account and profile | Removed as part of account deletion, including the sign-in identity. |
| Audit log entries | Kept up to 24 months as a security and integrity record, then removed. Entries are unlinked from your identity when the account is deleted. |
| Access and security events | Kept up to 12 months for abuse detection, then removed. |
| Partner applications | Business contact details submitted by partners are kept while the partnership is under review or active. |
Your rights, and how to use them
Two controls in Settings cover most requests: Export my data downloads everything we hold as a JSON file, and Delete my account erases the household record and your sign-in identity straight away. Correction happens by editing your answers — every page is editable.
Anything else, including objection or restriction, goes to privacy@plantourlife.com. We answer within 30 days. Your local rights and supervisory authority are listed on the data protection worldwide page — you can complain to that authority at any time.
Children
Accounts are for adults. We ask how many children live in the household and their rough ages so the plan is realistic, but we hold no names or contact details for them.
Changes
When this notice changes materially we say so in the app before the change takes effect. The date above always reflects the current version.
