Who processes data on our behalf
We keep the list short on purpose. Every provider below is needed to run the service; none of them receives household data for their own purposes.

Current subprocessors
| Provider | Purpose | Location | Data involved |
|---|---|---|---|
| Lovable Cloud (managed Supabase infrastructure) | Application hosting, database, authentication | European Union | Account email, household answers, audit and security logs |
| Lovable AI Gateway (Google Gemini models) | Summarising and classifying public agency publications for the updates feed | European Union / United States | Public source material only — no household or account data is sent |
| Public source organisations (SLU, EU, USDA, FAO and others) | Read-only ingestion of published feeds | Global | None — outbound reads only |
International transfers
Household data is stored in the European Union. Where a provider processes data outside the EU or EEA, the transfer relies on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses together with technical measures — encryption in transit and at rest, and minimising what leaves the primary region in the first place.
Changes to this list
Before a new subprocessor starts handling personal data we update this page. If you object to a specific provider, write to privacy@plantourlife.com — you can always export your data and close the account from Settings.
